Description
Tall ocean cliff standing above a low tide sandy ocean beach. The Pacific Ocean cliff is covered with many species of colorful lichens and moss (orange, green, yellow, red, black). Near Canon Beach, Oregon, USA.
I rarely do this, but the gull was added via a layer, because the time was nearing dark, and the cliff needed a long exposure, but also waited for a gull, and it needed a fast shutter. -- PHOTO: 42,289.05797

Linda – Right time, Right place -- that's 3/4 of what great photos are. Sometimes we know where and when we need to be someplace, and sometimes we luck out. This time I mostly lucked out. I was purposely chasing other shots in the area when this popped up and surprised me.
