Chinook River rapids just below the bend in the river at Stafford Falls. The falls is narrow, but a roaring waterfall chute when spring snow-melt and rain come rushing down the canyon bottom pushing the fast flowing stream through the deep conifer tree forest. This section of the river is north of Packwood, Washington, in Mount Rainier National Park, part of the Pacific Northwest, United States, USA, North America. -- PHOTO: 41,795.08207
